Never trust love
With all its dirty secrets
You’ll find evidence of love
But you’ll never really prove it
People may be true
Sometimes you’ll trust them with your life
But love will creep right up on you
And slay you in the night
Love won’t always be there
At the time you need it most
Love has no heart on which to swear
A sacred, binding oath
So never trust love
A word to the wise
Never trust love
