Never The Same

Whats yours can never be mine
And what's mine can never be yours
We were always distant so let's stay
That way I don't want to be you

And nor do you want me to be you
So leave me alone like you left years
Ago I was done dealing with you a
Long time so please leave me alone

I am done trying so just leave me
Because we're to different planets
Never the same

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
