Never More Then You Poem by William Ryan

Never More Then You

Perfect I am not even close
But there's no doubt I Love you the most
Most times we may not see eye to eye
But please believe how hard I try
To make your life the very best
Even though I can't really compare with the rest
Fortune and fame I'll never get
And maybe in most lives I'll never fit
There's no doubt that to God I often pray
Thankful that God brought you my way
You were a blessing from the start
And you are the one that holds my heart
To you no one else can compare
I'd have no reason in life if you weren't there
I maybe hard and not easily understood
And you are all that make this life good
So won't you please help me to find
My own way to being gentle, loving, and kind,
I have went through a life that's been tough
Love is something I was never shown enough
You could be the one to pull me through
Teaching me about the Love most children knew
To you every day I must apologize
Because I am old but not that wise
No matter in life where I may go
The true meaning of Love I may never know
But please believe this to be true
I've never loved anyone more then you!
