Never Meant To Be Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Never Meant To Be

Thinking about the world I walk in now,
slowly time moves by,
then again faster then a blink of an eye,
why do I fill my mind,
with all I do not see,
hidden voices screaming at me,
clocks are ticking,
and I stand motionless,
waiting for your embraces,
a loving warm kiss,
that was never meant to be.
