Never Looking Backward Poem by Paul Amrod

Never Looking Backward

Rating: 5.0

Indigenous resources in the valleys of the Neanderthal
are amazing archaeologists in depths of wonderment.
The insinuative cosmic travel of the trumpet-call
resonates the reasoning of the limerick
exuding in realms of endearment.
Compatible are the fascinations
cradling the beloved whimpering maverick
entangling himself with the superfluous thrall
resolving conflicting arbitration.
Acclaiming and applauding the feats of generous
dignitaries selflessly giving compassion.
Beauteous visions inspiring the righteous
to the state of rendering reflectiveness.
Reenacting the principles of brotherhood
and ending the ages of trepidation.
Ringing in an era of tolerance and heed
duplicating the essence of the understood
extending over multiple dimensions.
Murmuring over previous passions
evokes no premature genesis
of valiance and fearless directions.
Possessing the will and character of the need
of renewal with inspiration and livelihood.
We attribute our virtual tendencies
implying our humanistic intentions.
Entering the garden of exoneration
we capture bouquets of fantasies.
Incandescent lamps of gold
will release our souls from dependency.
Taking spiritual wing in progress
reciting the psalms of old.
Healing each wounded of heart
bringing glimmering rays into the darkness.
Incarnations of the Rosicrucian
will perpetrate the primeval harmless.
Inadvertently invoking a ritualistic dance
in choreography with mysterious allusions.
Auspiciously, optimistically inducing a trance
bringing skeptics to no logical solutions.
Incredulous is the boasting of the bold
reeling the positional false intrusions.
Standing steadfast with an absolution
We then impose our fortitude and stable position
Decisiveness disengaging all forms of neurosis
developing a resolved and inclusive conclusion.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem was inspired through the gift of decisiveness. With many extraneous sources of information one may be driven off the path of clarity. With forms of logic, intuition and common sense we can always return to a basic understanding of a situation at hand. Having the strong will to act upon instincts can really bring wonders. Avoidance of neurotic temptations and a strong believe in one's ability to make decisions is a very rewarding talent and even if something goes for naught one needn't ever second guess oneself.
