Never Late Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

Never Late

Rating: 5.0

The Spring sky beckons
Through clatter of hailstones spent
Thunderstorms are extensions of Heaven
Quenching the Earth-God's raindrops spent;
'Tis said that April showers are necessary
Alive in Springtimes hours...
Paving the way for Rainbows Arch
And the first bud of May flowers;
The clouds in clever syllables fade
As raindrops in a caravan disipate
Bountiful in design-this Garden O' mine
Arrival of Mays blossoms-never late! ;
