Never Forget Poem by Cory Fox

Never Forget

Rating: 4.0

Indifference his name; Self gain his plot
Like a lamb, he sets up his ruse
Lures his victims with no second thought,
No remorse and nothing to lose

Endurance her name; withered away
Vying to remove her distress
Endlessly, for every rainy day
Reminds her of her emptiness

Failure my name and forever my fate
On the day I could’ve saved you
Reliving how I was one step too late
Gives me the strength to fight anew

Each lived for another day to fight
Three stories, two hearts, one fateful night
