Never For You Poem by Paula Glynn

Never For You

You'll never get a Christmas card from me,
You'll never be invited to my party,
Or any other friends and family gathering,
And you'll never betray me again.

You'll never have my concern,
You'll never have my sympathy,
And I won't be there,
While you roast in hell,
For your actions I will always report,
Always share; always tell.

You could be sleeping in the snow,
And I would not care,
And I do not care about your finances,
Your health, the extent of your wealth.

You will never get congratulations,
Condolences, compassion or support,
You will never be allowed into my home,
And you will never get the better of me,
And if you try to strike me,
You will only be striking a concrete wall.

So be careful what you say and do.

A stern warning to a betrayer nicely expressed!
