Never Die


If I lived forever. I would never go to sleep.
The priest told me there was no death rattle.
However,
They said there was a crying infant.
If I lived forever, sleep would be a playground bully.
Pushing the weaker. Displaying why a lucid state
Is only as useful
As gravity's ambition,
To keep us balanced.
