You never speak
But what you say
Gets to me
In the biggest way

I pour my heart
Out to you
You listen to me
But it’s all you do

I use all my time
Waiting and waiting
But my future with you
Is worth anticipating

Do you like me?
For who I am
Or are you playing around
Is it all a scam?

I love the fact
You’re the only one
On my mind
But now, I think I’m done

I am finished
With your welcoming smile
Your dark brown eyes
You’re not worth your while

Thinking of you
Makes me cry
Because when I say I hate you
I know it’s a lie
