Nestled In Your Arms Poem by Brian Kilpatrick

Nestled In Your Arms

Under the weeping willow
Nestled in your arms
I wake to the call of a whippoorwill
Fish jump dragon flies dart
The waterfall cascades
Blue eyed grass and lily pads dance
An evening primrose readies for the promenade
A bull frog and hoot owl play bass
As crickets take the lead in the midnight serenade
Immersed in my favorite lullaby I close my eyes
And I nuzzle closer to your side
