Nerves Poem by Ocean Myranda

Nerves

She sees him in the hall,
He's not hard to miss,
Everyone including him, is so tall!

Everytime he is near,
Her heart beat races,
She's afraid to show her fear.

Her heart beat skips,
She loses her breath,
Quietly biting her lips.

Screaming inside her mind,
Her nerves shaking inside,
So nervous, causing her to go blind.

Chosen by him, but she doesn't know why,
So many thoughts racing in her mind,
With him, time slows and nothing goes by.

Every second lasting longer than the last,
Being in his arms, her heart goes crazy,
Holding onto every second that goes past.

Never thinking this could happen to her,
Everything going great,
Seeing only him, everything's a blur.

Knowing not to get attached, she pushes away,
Feeling him pull her back,
Slowly allowing him to do so, she starts to sway.

Nervous as ever,
Next to him,
Hoping this lasts forever.
