Nerves Poem by Cece Winters

Nerves

I felt so nervous, so scared
of life's next challenge.
It took me a little while to calm down.
Once I was fine, I realised that
everyone is on the same page.
Some expressed it like me; scared and
appearing to look the expression of sad.
Others were more forward in speaking.
I took a chance and spoke and that had
lead to blending in so well.
But, I had to slow down my fast paced head
to their slow minded pace as a group.
