Neo Sykes-Picot (Improved Virsion)

Rating: 2.5

With eyes full of tears,
With ears that became
Semi deaf from
Hearing bad news,
I took daring steps
To investigate maps
Of different Arabic countries
That were once divided
In red and blue
Between France and England;
What was our curse:
Beauty and richness
Of land, weather
Or Culture.

What is it in us
That invite main powers
To hurt and kill
Our innocent people
In Syria, Sudan
Iraq and Yamane.

The so called
Terrorist that are
In fact ruthless
Butchers who
Slay human beings
In a worse way
Than an animal
Are unknowingly
Fulfilling what enemies
Want to accomplish;
This time no armies
Are invading us;
No need for such
An effort for
The dumb radical
Troops are doing
What no enemy
Could do, I tried
Hard to hush
The voices questioning
Me, for no experience
Have I in the field,

As my hurt pride
Was wrestling
With fear from future
And anger from the sting
Tears washed the
Old map while waiting
In hopelessness
And helplessness
For it to be soon replaced
By a new one.

Yes you are right. But you should realize that anyone who got power became an imperialist. We the Muslims attacked and conquered Spain and India because we were powerful.' Now we are weak and others are mighty. Might is right.
