Negative And Positive. Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Negative And Positive.

Rating: 5.0

Don't think negative sign as a zero,
If positive sign is heroine negative is hero.
Though positive is day, negative is night,
Later is dark and former is bright.

Without darkness there is no meaning of bright,
Day has no meaning without night.
Where there is sorrow there is joy,
Where there is child there is toy.

Magnet has a South Pole and a North Pole,
North Pole attracts South Pole as a whole.
In electricity there is positive and negative charge,
When they merge, they can supply light large.

Both have power but don't have negative attitude,
Always think positive that will give you certitude.
Virtuous qualities have brightness like a day,
Anger, greed and lust are on the night-bay.

Truth, Nonviolence and charity have positive qualities,
We should always follow these as they have moralities.
Of course these have brightness due to the negative,
God is in favour of moral qualities, be always positive.

Opposites when merged release immense energy and create positive results! But negative thoughts are not going to help us. At the same time, positive thoughts can work miracles! A thought provoking poem! Enjoyed!

lovely poem. Do agree that being positive is good. but if a person sees something positive in every negative charge, then for sure the end will be positive.

A lot of thought went into writing this poem. There are two sides to every coin. If one doesn't understand what is right then one doesn't understand wrong either. Discipline begins at home, pre school. We should all be taught the difference between good and bad, right and wrong, from the very beginning. If we instil a positive attitude in our children then they will become positive adults. An admirable write Kumar.
