Nectar Of Light

This bloom's nectar
will become
firefly light

This bloom's nectar
will be
firefly flight.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Note: Fireflies are ubiquitous (when free of insecticides) . There are over 2000 varieties. Some glow green, some yellow, and others orange-red.

They have a spiritual odyssey, from eating larvae when they themselves are larvae, to eating nectar and pollen.
