Natures Court Poem by Ken Duffy

Natures Court

Rating: 5.0

Mother Earth, she tries her best
Yet still we rape her, surely thats incest
Uncontrolled, the harm we are doing
Nobody cares, so we carry on screwing

At natures court, the laws are long set
Respect for them, is rarely met
Warnings she sends, we choose to ignore
Do the calculation, she can't take much more

There may be time, to make things right
If we all come together, to join in the fight
It's not rocket science, just common sense
Banding together, in her mutual defense

You have heard it all before, yes I know
So listen to the tribes, of Blackfoot and Crow
Everything has purpose, her herbs help to cure
All people have a mission, keep this planet pure

Original Quote
Everything on the earth has a purpose, every disease a herb to cure it, and every person a mission.
This is the Native Indians theory of existence''

It's taken man many years to destroy the earth, let's hope it does not take that long to start fixing it. A great poem.
