Natures Colours Poem by David Harris

Natures Colours

A slow walk around a lake
surrounded by nature’s colours.
Yellows of the buttercups,
whites of the daisies,
pinks of clover and heather
with a touch mauve and yellow
from wild irises near the bank.
Alongside the multi coloured butterflies
playing merrily on their way.
Like having a slow walk through
a wonderland of colours
that ferments the summer season.
The quiet that transcends over everything
bringing peace and calm
into our lives on a sunny summers day.
