NATURE’S CYCLE

Do those trees in winter standing with their
bones thread bare,
Remember the lustrous Summer which has
gone?
When they were clothed with a green apparel,
And surrounded by bird’s melodious song?
Do they recall the blossoms which flowered
and bloomed,
With colors of flaming yellow, violet or red?
And those monsoon showers on which they fed?
Do those trees recall the countless Summers,
Which got gently gathered by Autumn’s fall?
And the bone chilling gusts of northern winds,
With the snowflakes which the winter brings?
Yet as they stand desolate and bare, they all
hope and dream to dare, -
Of a Springtime once more, to cover their
nakedness as before!

While for some of us those fresh green leaves,
Shall never return with the coming of Spring!
We shall perish with memories of our past,
With bones and flesh turned to dust!
But those trees are happy to forget their past,
Nature keeps their memories to forever last!
