Natural Symphony Poem by Kelly Aragon

Natural Symphony

Rating: 5.0

A lightning flash,
A thunder's boom,
The sad song,
That the rain produced,

Hits my heart,
Like a melody,
Strong and scary,
Yet beautifully sweet,

The patter of the rain,
As it hits the ground,
The splash of puddles,
That children jump on,

Laughing from those,
Who dance in the rain,
Singing and happy,
No sign of dismay,

The desert we live in,
Thrives with it now,
Now there's enough,
Water to go 'round,

Thunder is booming,
It rattels the doors,
Scaring small children,
Into parents arms,

Some soft and warm,
Inside their nice beds,
While others get poured on,
Out in the hard rain,

The homeless take cover,
Under overhangs,
And quietly watch,
This natrual symphony

The beauty surronds us,
And some realize,
That this is real magic,
We hear and we see,

So next time it rains,
Maybe you'll see,
And listen to this,
Natural Symphony.
