Native In Mind Poem by Jeremiah Wheeler

Native In Mind

I know the feelings but I fail with my words found I'm too damn slow to show you the verve. It's all indecision and unending fun. They say that science has come up with the perfect concoction to end all our nerves. I know I respect nature more than the curve, the curve that they grade on, the so called leaders that dictate and then kill all the world and its better fate! Why cant you look at me honest and tell me your hate? Why are you affecting all these things you could never recreate? Well Now I know why I keep my mouth shut or mumble real low, I'm afraid of you twisting and turning my words I'm afraid of you taking and killing the herds, all that is pure and natural that We can use from the land you take and create the artificial and greedy new plan!
