Nameless Poem Poem by Samantha Stough

Nameless Poem

I want to wrap myself in the lines of the musical staff
I yearn to decipher each point on the chronological graph
I long to write charging, mighty epics and delicate, dreamy prose
And to paint lovely portraits and sketch my perceptions wherever I go
I would love to chart the sea and explore all the land
I would fancy to morph into an animal, or see how it feels to be a man
I crave to fight battles, yet strive to bring peace
But no matter which path I chose, I shall be me in the very least
My talents are raw, very few and far between
But with some encouragement from you, I see a horizon I’ve never seen
