Nalini -The Water Lily Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Nalini -The Water Lily

Rating: 5.0

Marsh lands badlands
Where life won't grow
Just miles and miles of
Emptiness to show

I am a denizen
Of one such wonderland
For I am a water lily
Try catch me, if you can

I grow and thrive
In such marshy miles
The closer you come
The further I glide

All by myself
I explore all the shores
I bloom in the moonshine
Sun is too harsh
For me to be lured

Water lilies are like Lotus. They bloom at night only
