Naked Nihilism Poem by Abby Kimball

Naked Nihilism

Rating: 4.0

Close your eyes
He whispers to her,
It will make it feel better,
She does but it still hurts,

The naked angels,
Watched them from above,
Shot arrows at the sorrow,
Of the loss of a first love,

He kissed her eyelids,
This made her cry,
He promised to love her
She doubted his reply

She never really trusted him
She never really trusted anybody x5 (faster)
She never really trusted him

Pound, pound, pound on the door,
As your pounding she’s asking’ for more
Bruise, bruise, bruise on her face,
Just another whiny teenager trying to find their place,

Close your eyes
He yells at her,
This will make it better,
She knows this is what she deserves

He told her it was for her,
She pretended to understand,
He hit her one more time,
And she ran and she ran and she ran,

She never really trusted him
She never really trusted anybody x5 (faster)
She never really trusted him
