Naked In The Moon Poem by Cynnd Rose

Naked In The Moon

Rating: 3.0

I’ve seen the clever moons that shine above my head glimmering lightly like wet tangerines
I didn’t realize I needed midnight
To collide my hands with the fruit tree
Picking away the pieces of what I believe is love
Loves lets you breath
Hate doesn’t let you sleep
Love is sleep
Hate feels cold, wet, and passionate
Your love feels long, hard, and tastes bitter
But I need stay away from your snake
Because my love yearns to listen to your heart
But my soul tends to lay in your bed
