Mystic Lady Poem by Irene C S ClarkHogg

Mystic Lady

Mystic Lady.

We welcome her, a lady fair
Into our tiny band,
Of those who dream of other worlds
And tread the mystic land.

A place that is beyond the ken
Of most of humanity,
Where only poets and kin may live,
In the towers of this fair city.

Here the spirit people walk
And the mighty dragons fly,
Magic fills the air with light
And cloud castles rule the sky.

We will explore the winding thoroughfares
Which are the corridors of the mind,
So, step through the portal, dear lady
And dwell with your own kind.
