Mystic

wind,
whispering trees
clouds, stars
radiant,
unseen
and again, ever-
moving into darkness
pale riders on
night's mystic train
night, to day,
to winter, to spring
summer's
heat arises,
unforeseen,
as tender leaves breathe
as taps the rain,
as life remains.
