Let me share my view about my city, Mysore
The Palace city, hi-tech and green, not a noisy galore
Ancient and Modern structures blend together
Making the city look richer and better

People from all over the world visit and enjoy the bliss
Chamundi Hills is one destination you never miss
Flock gather to be part of the Dasara celebration
Eagerly wait for the 'Jumbo Savari' - Elephant procession

Mysore Sandalwood, Mysore pak, silk saree, peta, Jasmine
A few things known worldwide, Unique to this land so fine
Music, Dance, Sculptures, Food, Land, Flora and Fauna rare
The aura of Mysore is the friendly people, warmth and care

Royal in a true sense, rich in culture and resources
Land where River Cauvery nourishes and flourishes
Just a visit will enrichen and brighten your life for sure
Mysore is Uniquely beautiful, Natural, rich and pure

For me its beyond and above all this
Go around the world, there is no place like this
Mysore is wonderfully special, my Homeland
Truly a blessing to belong to such a land!
