My Writing's Not Yet Done Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

My Writing's Not Yet Done

When I shall die
And in my casket lie,
No more to hear
The songs I love so dear,
Lost in deep slumber
Gone will be my laughter,
And no more to weep
In my eternal sleep,
My eyes will be closed
Like a withered red rose,
I'll fade like the setting sun
But no, my writing's not yet done.
