My World Poem by Marilyn Lott

My World

Rating: 5.0

I’m surrounded by the things
That are special in my world
Walking down a red dirt road
As clouds above are swirled

An old barn rickety with age
Sits in a wide open field
Where once the golden crops
Gave a fresh tremendous yield

A rainbow makes a perfect day
Blue water with peaks of white
Nothing is more peaceful
It’s a quiet and special sight

And sunsets, oh the sunsets
Almost more than one can bear
I grab my camera quickly
So with photos I can share

Welcome to my world
I feel so truly blessed
Serenity and happiness
Has always been my quest!
