My Words Poem by Viola Grey

My Words

Rating: 4.1

What sweet, sad sentiment
could I express
to squeeze out a tear,
win your respect.
Lines of vivid verse
strung like pearls
together, but seperate
they float to your world.
Emotions encaptured
never get through,
but I live by my words,
for me...not for you.

You have an ability to 'touch' those common things many experience in life; those qualities we hold close. As in a loving relationship it requires a mutual respect of the other, and above all else trust and honor. As you share your message with others it creates a picture of you.which is...Beautifully done. Again that 'other person' I compare you to will hopefully read yours very soon.

Your words always capture emotion Viola, that is the true beauty of your poetry. Staying true to yourself is the impetus for that. Another 10 from me!
