My Wall Poem by Wesley Mair

My Wall

I sit down and start talking, not to myself. I’m having a conversation with the wall
Yes I’m talking to the wall, I tell it all my emotions, all my problems, I tell it all
I talk to the wall because the wall wont laugh, put me down, or interrupt me
When I talk to the wall I can say whatever I want, it wont get mad. I can talk freely
When I talk to the wall it wont get mad when I scream, it wont get mad if I have a fit
The wall is so kind and loving I could never ever hit or swing at it
The wall will always be there to protect me from people on the other side
The wall will always be there whenever I need a safe place to hide
It doesn’t even have to talk, because the wall can listen’s very well
I can trust the wall always, if I have a secret I know for a fact the wall will never tell
When its cold outside I know for sure the wall will keep me warm
It will be there wherever i am… at home, the mall, the store, the park, even my dorm
When its hot outside, I don’t need a fan, the wall will keep me cool
When I’m in public I know for certain the wall wouldn’t make me look like a fool
The wall will be there when I eat, it will watch me when I’m sleep, It will protect me day and night
Me and the mall are close, we will never argue, we will never get into a fight
My wall is pretty cool, my wall is very dope. She’s more than my bud, she’s more than my homie
My wall will always keep it real, I know it and it knows me, my wall is trustworthy its not a phony
My wall, my wall… no other wall could replace my wall, not your wall, his wall or her wall
You cant bring down my wall, its greater than the wall of china and Jericho. My wall will never fall
My wall will always be here when im up and when im down, my wall will never leave
My wall is loyal, it is respectful, it will never break my heart, it will never deceive
Funny thing is my wall is not a wall, actually my wall is not an object at all… it’s a girl
Not just any girl, she’s the one I love and for the one I love I would give the world
