My Walk To Work Poem by Anita Guindon

My Walk To Work

As I walk to work in the morning
I see the beauty of the day
I smell the flowers and hear the birds singing,
sometimes the skies are foggy and grey
But most of the time the sun is shining.

As I pass by the Saskatchewan river
I see Canada geese huddled together.
I see deer running on this side of the river.
My morning walks, I will always remember,
But most of all, are the tall trees, blowing in the wind.

I am greeted at the door by the three cats,
Once inside I see three sleepy eyed beauties
Who have brought much joy into my life,
We enjoyed long walks in the woods together,
Amanda, Stefanie and Stacie, I'll remember forever!
