My Vinyasa Poem by Marc O'Maolain

My Vinyasa

Rating: 5.0

Falling like rose petals, releasing my pain

Sweat falls from me like Divine rain

Looking within, no help from without

I cast away cares and cast away doubt

Stretching my arms, I feel from within

Release from all fear, from the thing they call sin

Gazing at the infinite, transformation consumnate

Kundalini rises; no, I can’t escape from it

No time to wonder, no time to worry

No time for pondering, no time to hurry

Moving like poetry, breath like the wind

Epiphanies, actual, come from within

Filled up with gratitude and good intentions

I rid my spirit of things I can't mention

They call this thing yoga, but I call it Life

Freedom from worry and freedom from strife

Rejection of violence, forgetting the ego

All that it takes is to be and to let go

-Sadhaka
