Tonight I show you love, you reciprocate with hate
I maintain a peace, yet you initiate debate

What more can I do to make you mine
To keep your love, O’ sweet valentine

How many more gifts must I throw your way?
To prove my love on this Valentines Day

Last year when our love was new
You loved me, and I loved you

This year it seems our loves grown old
You seem so distant, you seem so cold

You are more than just the girl that got away
You’re the love of my life that’s gone astray
