My Valentine Poem by Joseph Enright

My Valentine

You left me in the Autumn
In the Springtime of your life
Your passing left me broken
My heart pierced vwith a knife

I looked at you sleepin
In the fullness of your youth
But Death crept in your room that day
And stole you right away.

Now my life is barren
As the trees in wintertime
I shall miss you love, forever
Farewell, my pretty Valentine
