My Time Away From You Poem by Elusive Conclusive

Day 1. I am really missing you, I’m on my journey to Heathrow airport my destination is Peru.

Day 2. I have landed in Brazil next flight to Lima, I swear on the plane I thought I had seen ya.

Day 3. Now flying to Cusco and the mountains, you have been on my mind every second my princess Rebecca Houghton.

Day 4. The treck has started and it has not been easy, climbing up and down rocks has kept me busy. Thinking about you more than ever, my little pickle I want to be with you forever.

Day 5.the first part of our treck to Machu Picchu, this was the hardest day of my life knowing I couldn’t text you.

Day 6.the hardest day of the climb, I only just about made it because you were always on my mind.

Day 7. I’m thinking about you more than ever, I feel this day should have been the one we should have been together. I’m on a mountain and you’re at home, the day you need e the most I didn’t want you to feel alone.

Day 8. Now in Machu Picchu which is amazing, I nearly got attacked by a lama when I leant on it while it was grazing.

Day 9. The climb is over and I am really tired, my love for you kept me inspired.

Day 10. I’m feeling ill and spent the day in bed, I was thinking of you when I herd David Aurellio's ‘in my head’ .

Day 11. Of to Lima and on the coast, I would give anything to hold you close.

Day 12. Going to Ica and sand boarding today, I knew you were unhappy so I told you I would strip and do the helicopter on Monday

Day 13. On my way back to Lima only to find out, a volcano has erupted which could delay our flight out. I went and saw Moby but the only thing on my mind, was having you in my arms in 3 days time.

Day 14. Went to the fountains which were fun, Rebecca my darling you’re still my number 1.

Day 15. packed for the airport next destination home but we got turned away at the airport I never felt so alone, it cheered me up when I spoke to you on the phone, now I face another 11 days before I make it home.

Day 16. I should have been home by now, i’m still stuck in Lima wondering why and how.

Day 17. This was the day I was going to see you, instead i’m stuck here with no money and nothing to do. Once again I got to talk to you, this helped me see day 17 through.

Day 18. Packing to take a trip to south Peru, it’s cheaper there; i've spent too much money and am annoyed i’m not with you.

Day 19. Spent the morning talking to you, I love hearing your voice and I got sunburnt too.

Day 20. Took a trip to a place called Puno, i’m looking forward to seeing you soon though.

Day 21. Meant to go to Bolivia today but the hotel made us late for the bus so in Puno another night we will stay, it means I don’t get to talk to you just like yesterday .

Day 22. On my way back to Arequipa today, can’t believe I couldn’t talk to you on the way. You text to say you were worried about me, when a tornado came down and destroyed Mississippi 3.

Day 23. Back in Arequipa and I got to speak to you today, we talked for over 3 hours this really made my day.

Day 24. Coming back to Lima felt like coming home, I got really excited plus I got to speak to you on the phone.

Day 25. you text me t say you brought a new car today and you sounded really happy and so was I Miss Houghton you take my breath away, I will be leaving Peru for home tomorrow which makes this my final day.

Day 26. Now getting on the first plane, I really can’t wait to see you again. It’s been nearly a month without you by my side, when I see you I will probably cry.

Day 27. I landed back in England today, I had butterflies in my tummy all the way. Now at home laying in my bed, with thoughts of you going round my head. Once you have read this poem I hope you realise too, it’s now day 28 and Rebecca im still in love with you.
