My Terminal Call Poem by Daniel Kyle

My Terminal Call

Memories o memories
They are so adored
Memories o memories
I wish I had made more

Friends o friends
Where have you gone?
Friends o friends
I will miss you at dawn

Brothers o brothers
We've had our disputes
Brothers o brothers
We join at our roots

Father o father
You have taught me so
Father o father
You watched me grow

Mother dear mother
Please do not cry
Mother dear mother
I will soon watch from the sky

Lover my sweet lover
You are more beautiful than ever
Lover my sweet lover
I will be with you now and forever

Life o life
I have found myself
Life o life
I am as happy as you yourself

Lord o Lord
I have spent time away
Lord o Lord
Save me for I would like to stay

Christ o Christ
you have died for me
Christ o Christ
I cannot more thank thee

Holy Spirit o Holy Spirit
You have followed me around
Holy Spirit o Holy Spirit
You witnessed my sins I wish to keep in the ground

Satan o Satan
You have persuaded me to sin of the odd
Satan o Satan
I crush your head with the strength of God

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This was the last poem I wrote. Note I only wrote poems for about two months. This gave me new found strength to stand on my own. I felt after I wrote this, that if and when I died, people would know how I felt.
