My Teddy Bear Poem by Lizzie Resendiz

My Teddy Bear

Rating: 5.0

Broken and scarred
my life so hard
blood trickling down
falling to the ground
I am alone
and wish to be gone
suicide in my head
wishing to be dead
no one would care
except maybe my Teddy Bear
I kiss him goodbye
as i begin to cry
and write my note
this is all I wrote
'Please take care
Of my Teddy Bear'
the note i stapple to my shirt
thats covered in blood and dirt
I dig the blade into my arm
wishing to do myself more harm
Heres my end I say as I die
whispering, to my Teddy Bear, goodbye

the sad emotions of this poem are multiplied by the fact that the teddy bear is the only thing/person who you will miss or you think will miss you. great use of an object in the poem.
