My Sweet Prey Poem by Danny, James Archer

My Sweet Prey

A single fear collided with a passionate embrace,
upon such a moment I hesitated and wondered
how such an occurrence could have ever been allocated,
to one soo lovely and placid as you.

No more shall I dwindle in prose,
poetry through my fingers, shall opulently flow,
unto a single scented moment meets with the ramblings of a fool,
and causes uproar, for his words become wise, as he fills with lies.

However, back to you, my lover.
For one whose temperament never flows above temperature,
your looking awfully red, these are only words my darling,
tis in the night where my passion caresses and the truth unfolds.

Morning now, Alyson, and its prose I give you for breakfast,
It was nice last night, thank you.
Maybe you will never know, maybe you already do
but soon my sweet prey I’ll be your biggest mistake.
