My Star (No Rhyme But With Reason) Poem by Ferdinand L Quintos

My Star (No Rhyme But With Reason)

Dusk,
I face the western horizon
to look at the Evening Star,
Planet Venus, as serene as you are.

Dawn,
I face the eastern horizon,
to gaze at the Morning Star,
Planet Venus, as lovely as you are.

Love,
now, in my own world’s horizon,
you are the bright-shining star,
you lift my spirit from dusk ‘til dawn.
