My Soul Be Stranded Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

My Soul Be Stranded

My soul be stranded
And
My suffering increases.

The last drops
Of energy
Come through
Now

Just desperation on
Desperation:
Clenched rattling teeth
And a field fruitless
Trees grown yet fruitless
Brain brilliant
Waning
Waning
Waning
