My Shadow’s Footsteps



Silent steps follow me
Beautifully camouflaged under my footprints
In a magnificent display of stealth
The art of ghosts
Is ever displayed by my shadow’s footsteps
Like the silent consumption of daylight by dusk
I’m stalked by my shadow’s footsteps
