My Seminary Life Poem by Alon Calinao Dy

When I went to seminary before,
My life has a meaning
A priest once told me,
' Your life here is God's calling.'

There I understood,
Being a priest was a vocation
A great sacrifice & service to God
Where no life to enjoy a vacation.

Indeed, I greatly admired
The hearts, souls and minds
Of those servants in God
As their own desires
have to be sacrificed.

For them to serve our Saviour Lord Jesus,
Life here on earth has its true values.
