My sad and lonely heart,
Is searching for someone new,
It isn't looking for just anyone,
They will be looking for someone like you.

I'm perfectly fine,
But my heart isn't the same,
My eyes are screaming out to you,
With that urgent feeling,
Of being wanted.

My sad and lonely heart,
Just wants to yell out,
These words of despair to you,
The words I'm too shy to say,
Are the beautiful words that are crying out to you.

My sad and lonely heart,
Wants to know where you are,
So you could really understand,
What I'm truly feeling.

You are all it could see,
Everyoneelse doesn't act the way you do,
But it doesn't understand,
The meaning of love, pain and joy.

My sad and lonely heart,
Has the courage to keep me around you,
But it doesn't have that same strength,
To keep me away from you any longer.

I can't handle all this sadness,
My broken heart is giving off,
You may not understand why,
But I know what it truly wants and needs.
All it wants is to fill up that space,
For it to be filled up with love and joy.

Wants to find its other half,
Being broken into two,
Isn't what its used to.
