My Prayers Poem by Richard Keiser

Where is the answer to my prayer
That I have prayed so long?
Why does it seem to take forever
To hear from Heaven's throne?

Why can't I have my answer, Lord,
The same day that I pray?
Why must I wait, and wait, and wait,
Until in my heart, I feel it's too late?

My faith grows weak, my mind grows numb,
As I wonder what wrong I've done.
To hinder getting answered prayers,
Have I offended the Father up there?

Will He hear today, when I pray,
Or will I have to wait another day?
He is faithful, He is true,
I know He'll answer real soon!
