My Prayer Poem by Dwayne Gordon

My Prayer

In the midst of a catastrophe, people are willing to lose their life over a glass of water. Some may think that this is not necessary, but think; if you are badly in thirst and the only way to quench your thirst is to kill, wouldn’t you? I would.
Many of us today are in thirst for the righteous blood of the lamb, Jesus Christ, who is our Lord and savior, the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega, the one and only Omnipotent God.
This is my prayer, protect me from mine enemies that plot against me. Help me to have a clean heart so that I don’t have to be prejudice or racist. Forgive me from my sins that I’ve committed. Restrain me from taking part in sinful acts, guide and protect me I ask in your name, Amen.
