My Prayer Poem by kenneth william snow

My Prayer

Heavenly Father of naive mankind
Expose the shadows that clutter my soul
Eradicate scales that render me blind
Infuse me with grace to nurture me whole

Harden my heart against Satan’s folly
Sharpen my acumen astutely clear
Bathe me in wit to help keep me jolly
Assured in my heart no man I need fear

Guide me to good and deeds beneficial
Create in my wake a movement of care
Gift me with will that’s morally blissful
Attend me Good Father; answer my prayer

In your loving image send me in peace
My condescension—I can now release

A beautifully written piece; it's similar to a poem of mine - it's entitled 'A SInner Like Me'. Perhaps you would enjoy it.
