My Pack Poem by Maverick Jones

My Pack

Looking down the long cold lonely road,
this is what happens when you break the wolf packs code,
they kick ya out of the car leaving you empty and cold,
I feel like I was scolded with hot gold.
They left me to survive on my own,
if only they really knew that I was the one holding the throne.
That it was me keeping our enemies at bay,
and they toss me out like trash from yesterday.

But I won't let them get me down I came to far as a person to drown now,
I'll plow through them making Clay Matthews say wow.
It won't be easy since they taught me how to fight,
and they were like family to me so it doesn't seem right.

The sky cast pink and red tears from above,
we all look up seeing a white dove.
A sign that a nasty battle is ahead,
I can't let my feelings get in my head.

Watching love turn into hate,
wondering will that be my fate.
I thought I could do something great,
but left abandon in a steel crate,
I can't sit here and wait,
I have to break through these bars and set the record straight.

I'll start with my true faithful wolf pack,
who turned there back and called the attack,
I have to get them back on track,
cause even though we are all a little whack,
there is no force strong enough to make us crack.

I'm coming at my enemies like a frontier, riding a mule deer, with a flaming spear, and I'm shoving it straight into your there ear, this is just the world premiere, I hit them so hard there leapt a year, they have nothing to hold onto might as well disappear.
