My Own Private Space Poem by Sebastian Soberania

My Own Private Space

i look around me
and there is nobody
and then i take my own body
towards the place
that i have always been
you are not there
not even once
my own private space
where i can be myself
too private

there i keep all my faces
and to each door
and window i place
back my set of wings
and then i fly away
looking for my
own prey: dreams
fantasies, lust,
unconsummated
flesh, i am here
both vampire and
saint, i am in this
place between
heaven and hell.
